BOARDERS - OB42 FILM COMPANY

PRODUCER.

The past and present collide when a man steps into a social club, soon becoming clear that his motive is linked to his teen years, and the events that traumatised him.

Initially there is a distinct emphasis on the teenager, and a complicated co-dependent relationship with the boy who holds sway over him. As events come to a head, in both flashback and 'present-day'.

The inevitable confrontation with the man’s old adversary - now apparently normal stand-up guy, still with the same girl - delivers its own unexpected twist. A really strong way to show the lasting damage created by a poisoned youth.

Directed by Thomas James.

Starring: Ryan Nolan (1917, How to build a girl)

TWISTED RITUALS - RSCG

PRODUCER.

The film unfolds as a haunting Gothic vignette, where obsession and captivity collide in eerie chiaroscuro. Under the stylized direction of Thomas James, and invoking the visually arresting signature of Jonas Åkerlund, the short plunges viewers into a claustrophobic tableau: a woman’s eerie domain becomes the dark stage upon which a man is held captive. Against the grainy backdrop of black-and-white intensity, the film becomes less a story than a possession, a ritualistic offering drenched in dread. Where power, desire, and the perverse choreography of control waltz in suspended time.

Starring: Paul Cassidy (Holmes & Watson, Outlander)

GET UP - THE WIDOW SERIES - REBEL X RSCG
